Recruiting and retaining good producers is described as one of the most challenging parts of growing an independent agency. Although there are some general approaches to producer compensation, there are several important factors included in producer compensation that are often overlooked. In this presentation we’ll go over that many times the terms of how producers are paid can be just as, if not more important, than what a producer is paid.

Carey Wallace has worked in the insurance industry for the past 16 years.
